In 2020, Google Japan launched its first nationwide AI competition for children — an initiative designed to foster creativity and problem-solving through hands-on AI learning.
Inspired by the idea of adaptive creativity, we developed a modular visual identity that reorganized itself programmatically, generating near-infinite design variations.
Working with Google’s engineering team, we brought this living system to life across all competition touchpoints.

The identity extended into the landing page, trophies, and event merchandise — each element reflecting the playful, algorithmic nature of the competition itself.
